I've been trying lots of illustrating techniques for my diplome. I am working a lot with inkscape, because, somewhere, architectural images have to be clean and precise. On the other hand, some nice effects and a little more "artistitic" views, can be really interesting. So I was trying out Painter X from Corel. To use this fantastic piece of software, you need a tablet. Without it is quite senseless, even with the straight line feature.

Beside real work, this software permits you to make fast sketches and to train your painting style. In the same time, the results can be beautiful. So I'll share several Painter Sketches here.
